Statster Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Statster ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Statster is a social sports tracking application that allows users to log match results, track personal statistics and ratings, follow other players, and interact through likes and comments. The App is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Statster. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App.
4. Account Registration
To use Statster, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Submit false or fraudulent match results
Impersonate another person or create fake accounts
Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
Post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content in comments, captions, or profile information
Attempt to manipulate ratings, rankings, or leaderboards through dishonest means
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
Scrape, collect, or harvest other users' personal information
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
6. Match Logging & Confirmation
When you log a match against a registered user, the opponent has 24 hours to confirm or dispute the result.
If the opponent does not respond within 24 hours, the match is automatically approved.
Disputed matches are deleted and do not affect either player's statistics.
You are responsible for ensuring match results you submit are accurate and honest.
7. User Content
By posting content on Statster (including match photos, captions, comments, and profile information), you:
Retain ownership of your content
Grant Statster a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service
Confirm that your content does not violate any third party's rights
Understand that your content may be visible to other users
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.
8. Ratings & Rankings
Ratings are calculated automatically based on match results using our weighted rating system.
All players start with a rating of 50, which adjusts based on wins and losses over time.
Rankings are determined by comparing ratings among all users, both globally and nationally.
We reserve the right to adjust the rating system or recalculate ratings at any time to improve fairness.
9. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, you may receive alerts about new followers, match confirmation requests, likes, and comments. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.
10. Intellectual Property
The Statster name, logo, design, and all associated content and technology are the property of Statster and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if:
You violate these Terms of Service
You engage in fraudulent or dishonest activity
Your behavior negatively impacts other users or the integrity of the platform
We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Statster is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
The App will be available at all times or without interruption
The App will be free of errors or bugs
Match data or statistics will be perfectly accurate at all times
The App will meet your specific requirements
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Statster and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
Your use of or inability to use the App
Any errors or inaccuracies in match data or statistics
Unauthorized access to your account
Any disputes between users regarding match results
Loss of data or content
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Statster, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
